HITS goes primetime on HRTV with $200,000 Lamborghini and $100,000 Sullivan GMC Truck Grand Prix
SAUGERTIES, NY (May 21, 2012) — HITS, Inc. and HRTV®, The Network for Horse Sports, are proud to announce that the television shows produced from the $200,000 Lamborghini Grand Prix, presented by Lamborghini Newport Beach and $100,000 Sullivan GMC Truck Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group television shows have been scheduled for airing. HRTV joined forces with both A Good Show (AGS) and HITS, Inc. earlier this year to produce the two full-length shows during the 2012 winter circuits in Thermal, California and Ocala, Florida.
The Lamborghini Grand Prix will make its HRTV premiere this Thursday, May 24 at 9 pm Eastern/6 pm Pacific time and will air again at 12 am Eastern/9 pm Pacific time. The Sullivan GMC Truck Grand Prix will premiere two weeks later Thursday, June 7 at the same times.
After complete coverage of the 2011 Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix in Saugerties, New York on HRTV last year, HITS took the relationship to new heights, adding the two crown jewels of the winter circuits to the 2012 schedule. HRTV and AGS traveled to both winter circuits to capture the highs, the lows and everything in between during the season’s two richest Grand Prix events.

HRTV and AGS showcased several riders from each coast with in-depth interviews. West coast riders include Pfizer Million veteran Duncan McFarlane, Canadian Olympian Jill Henselwood and 2012 World Cup Champion Rich Fellers, while east coast spotlights shown on Pfizer Million Champion Andre Thieme, Ocala hotshot Tracy Fenney and rising star Megan Edrick.
In an effort to bring national and media attention to the sport of show jumping, HITS and HRTV are taking steps to return the sport to television and beyond. As a preview of the upcoming 2012 Pfizer Million, coverage of last year’s event will be aired after the Lamborghini Grand Prix premiere.
