HRTV ADDS BETFAIR HOLLYWOOD PARK TO ITS ALREADY STRONG RACING LINE-UP
Arcadia, CA, Nov. 6 -- HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will add another prominent racetrack to its outstanding programming line-up when it provides live coverage of the Betfair Hollywood Park Autumn meeting, beginning this Thursday, Nov. 8.
The 24-date meeting will feature racing on a four-day-a-week basis -- Thursday through Sunday -- with a daily post time of 12:30 p.m. PT. The only variation comes on Thanksgiving Day when the holiday program gets underway at 11 a.m. PT.
The inclusion of the Inglewood, CA track gets added to a line-up that already includes: Churchill Downs, Aqueduct, Calder, Laurel, and more. The Fair Grounds begins its Fall-Winter meeting on Thanksgiving Day, and Gulfstream Park kicks off on Dec. 1.
The meeting, which concludes on December 16, features a number of excellent racing days, highlighted by the Turf Festival over Thanksgiving weekend (Friday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 25). Capping the holiday weekend of stakes action are two Grade 1
races on Sunday -- the $250,000 Hollywood Derby and the $250,000 Matriarch.
Two more Grade 1 events are slated for later in the meeting. The $500,000 Hollywood Starlet will be contested on Dec. 8, while the $750,000 CashCall Futurity is set for Dec. 15.
HRTV's daily coverage will include full post parades, in-depth race analysis from the network's knowledgeable experts, and much more.
