HRTV PROGRAMMING NOTE:
"Fasig-Tipton Pursuit of the Cup, Presented by Twinspires.com" Makes Seasonal Debut on Thursday, August 2
HRTV's (R) popular weekly "Fasig-Tipton Pursuit of the Cup, Presented by Twinspires.com" show, which chronicles the latest happenings leading up to the annual Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships, will make its seasonal debut on Thursday, August 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
Co-hosted by Scott Hazelton and Jeff Siegel, and joined by Laffit Pincay III, the show will air in half-hour segments through late August. Pincay will return to the host's chair when the show expands to an hour-long format on Thursday, August 30. The 29th running of the prestigious Breeders' Cup will take place at Santa Anita on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3.
Hazelton, Siegel, and Pincay will be joined by other members of HRTV's outstanding announcing stable, including Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens, New York-based Richard Migliore, and Millie Ball.
The informative show offers racing fans weekly primers on all the up-to-date Breeders' Cup information. It features highlights of key stakes races, in-depth analysis, and interviews with prominent racing personalities. It also chronicles the latest developments involving possible Cup entrants, both in the U.S. and the international scene, heading into the two-day Cup extravaganza.
