Network On-Site For Churchill's Stephen Foster this Saturday

HRTV (R) will once again provide on-site coverage of the 31st running of the Grade 1, $400,000 Stephen Foster Handicap this Saturday from Churchill Downs.

The network's Gary Stevens and Caton Bredar will be stationed beneath the Twin Spires to report on one of racing's biggest races for older horses, which has drawn a very deep field of nine, headed by Alternation and Wise Dan.

For the first-time ever, the Stephen Foster will be conducted as part of Churchill's second "Downs After Dark" card in June, with a special 6 p.m. ET first post. The Foster, contested at 1 1/8 miles on the dirt, is slated to go postward at 9:39 p.m. ET.

Stevens and Bredar will offer the latest, up-to-date information on not only the Foster, but also the outstanding, stakes-ladened card, which features the Grade 2, $150,000 Fleur de Lis Handicap, and a pair of the Grade 3, $100,000 events -- the Matt Winn and the Regret.
