HRTV (R) will continue to provide racing fans with in-depth coverage of the Triple Crown trail, when HRTV's Richard Migliore and Carolyn Conley report live on the Grade 1, $1 million Wood Memorial from Aqueduct Racetrack in New York on Saturday.

Additionally, HRTV will remain in its customary meet-long spot at Santa Anita to provide the latest developments heading into the most important race of the meeting, the 75th running of the $750,000 Santa Anita Derby, the premier West Coast steppingstone to the Derby, also on Saturday.

The Wood Memorial, contested at 1 1/8 miles, is the centerpiece of Aqueduct's winter-spring meeting, and annually figures prominently in the Kentucky Derby picture. This year's edition includes Alpha, along with the undefeated Gemologist, in the eight-horse field. Migliore and Conley will offer the latest up-to-date information on the Wood starters, and their connections, as well as offering analysis of the outstanding card, which includes three other graded stakes events, including the Grade 1, $400,000 Carter Handicap.

Creative Cause, one of the leading Derby contenders, will get his final tune-up for the "Run for the Roses" in the Santa Anita Derby, also at 1 1/8 miles. He has drawn post one in the 10-horse field. HRTV's extensive stable of on-air talent -- including Scott Hazelton, Jeff Siegel, Kurt Hoover, and Aaron Vercruysse -- will chronicle all the day's happenings from "The Great Race Place."

Also, HRTV's Laffit Pincay and Hall of Famer Gary Stevens will be part of the NBC Sports' coverage of the Santa Anita Derby.
