HRTV PROGRAMMING NOTE:

Network to air 2012 HRTV Film Festival at Santa Anita Top Ten Show on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET

HRTV (R) will air the first-ever 2012 HRTV Film Festival at Santa Anita Top Ten Show on Wednesday, May 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The one-hour show, co-hosted by HRTV's Peter Lurie and Zoe Cadman, will air at 8:30 p.m. ET, and feature the top ten submitted videos (virtually all in their entirety) from the recently-concluded Film Festival.

All videos, from both aspiring and established filmmakers, in the inaugural "A Day at the Races" competition were required to be no more than five minutes long, and had to shot entirely at the picturesque Santa Anita. Tristan de Burgh and Cassandra Brooksbank, both students at the USC Film School, took the $10,000 judges' prize award (from 25 overall submissions) with a video titled "Call to Arms." Christopher Riehn, a student at Cal Poly Pomona, earned the second-place prize of $5,000 from his video -- "Today."

Miguel Mouchess won the $10,000 Fan's Favorite award with his submission -- "A Day at the Races with the Paddock Tree Gang."  Mouchess was the selection from more than 77,000 online votes. Mouchess also earned $3,000 from a third-place award in the judges' voting.
