Arcadia, CA, Oct. 23 -- Black Caviar, the brilliant, undefeated Australian mare, is a superstar Down Under and HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will present the two-show series on the impeccable 6-year-old, beginning on Friday, Oct. 26.

The first half-hour show, titled Paint The Town Black, will premiere at 8:30 p.m. ET on this Friday, and the second, To Set Before a Queen, will be shown two days later -- Sunday, Oct. 28 -- also at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Black Caviar has an unblemished record in 22 career starts, earning over $6.2 million, and this marks the first time the shows have aired outside Australia.

Paint The Town Black offers exclusive access, going back to where it all began for Black Caviar -- on a stud farm in Victoria -- and documents the transformation of the lives of all her connections from breeder, trainer and jockey to fans who are storming racetracks to watch her run.

In this episode, viewers will meet her breeder, Rick Jamieson, and Black Caviar’s dam, Helsinge, as well as the horse manager who was there when Black Caviar was born in 2006. It’s a success story in which many have played important roles.

To Set Before a Queen is the fascinating inside story of the making of Black Caviar, stretching back across the generations. This show chronicles how Black Caviar has captivated Australians, and spotlights her preparation leading into her most recent race at Royal Ascot in June -- a prestigious, renowned race that is contested before the Queen of England.

The edition also features exclusive access to Black Caviar’s media-shy breeder, Jamieson; AFL legend Kevin Sheedy, who is part-owner of Bel Esprit; Peter Ford, Equine Advisor who found Helsinge; and a contribution by Gerard Whateley, Black Caviar’s official biographer.
