Arcadia, CA, Aug. 7 -- HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will present an all-inclusive recap of the inaugural Totally Thoroughbreds Horse Show when its award-winning documentary show, Inside Information: Horse Show at Old Hilltop, premieres on Sunday, August 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The Totally Thoroughbred Horse Show took place at Pimlico Racecourse in mid-July, and was the first of its kind held at a racetrack.  The brainchild of Georganne Hale, Maryland Jockey Club Racing Secretary, and Stacie Clark-Rogers, Adena Springs Retirement Program Manager, the Show drew over 800 entries and more than 300 horses from the surrounding states.

The quantity, and quality, of entries and the overall response of the horse community easily exceeded original expectations.

Many of the horses who competed were former racehorses, including several that had raced at Pimlico. The show highlighted the retraining of ex-racehorses for life after the track.  There were eight different classes contested during the day, with six ribbons awarded for each class, and nearly $10,000 awarded in prize money.

The money made through entries is earmarked for horse rescue charities that have helped the Maryland Jockey Club find homes for horses that raced in Maryland, including: Kim Clark’s Thoroughbred Placement Resources, Mid-Atlantic and Angel Acres.

HRTV had presented a live streaming webcast of the event via www.hrtv.com <http://www.hrtv.com/> , with the network's Carolyn Conley on-site to anchor the network's online coverage.
