From its inception, the members who personify the term “character” have defined professional rodeo. From the Rainbow Rider Casey Tibbs to today’s flamboyant hot-shot Shane Proctor, cowboys are a class of work hard, play hard individuals who pay their own way and live their own lives. Even so, the rich personalities of these cowboys and cowgirls has remained largely unknown to rodeo fans and the general public.

Reality Pro Rodeo will give viewers an unprecedented look into the lives of 3 PRCA contestants. The first, a hot up and comer with stars in his eyes and dreams of a trip to the NFR. The second, a seasoned Barrel Racer trying to reignite the brilliance of previous seasons with renewed focus. The third, a World Champion All Around cowboy determined to keep his titles and break new records. All three lead focused lives in the arena and attempt to find a balance between their private dreams and personal responsibilities.



Each 30 minute episode of Reality Pro Rodeo will feature the rides/runs of each featured contestant and documentation of their lives outside of competition including their horses, homes, travels and families. Additionally, the ranch of Sankey Rodeo Company will be featured giving viewers a rare look into the life of rodeo animals apart from the sport.
